By Kimberly Sweeney, 'The Island Guardians: The Gods' New Creations' Follows Two Twins With a God Given Task to Protect the Last Bastion of Humanity

Kimberly Sweeney's 'The Island Guardians' follows Ebony and Ivory, two twins with godlike powers who were born for the purpose of protecting the Treasured Islands from the evils who want them destroyed.

The youngest of her siblings, Kimberly Sweeney is the only girl in a family with six boys. She’s been writing poetry from a young age, with several of her works previously published. After high school, she received a college degree in Creative Writing, and she later released two children’s books. Delving into the world of science-fiction with her latest work, she has more stories coming down the road.

“The Island Guardians” is the story of Ebony and Ivory. After a war between the gods, humanity is resettled in a utopia called Bastow. As the world starts to rebuild on this island, evil threats begin to reemerge, and two twins named Ebony and Ivory are created to protect it. Half god and half human, the two of them have to learn how to use their powers and fend off the forces of evil, lest humanity be wiped out for good.

Readers looking to see if Ebony and Ivory can save the world can purchase “The Island Guardians: The Gods’ New Creations” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iBooks Store, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble.
